Additional hours Any scheduled occupancy time in excess of standard blocks.
All-student matinee block (4 hours) Discounted or free performance for student groups in grades K-12 and used in addition to performance block. Staff provided includes a technical supervisor (up to 4 hours) and house manager (up to 3 hours). Additional time in the same day charged as additional hours.
Conference block (4 hours) Conference, workshop, graduation or similar event with minimal technical requirements. Technical supervisor included. Additional time in the same day charged as additional hours.
Dark days Time that performance space is occupied by renter's production, but not used for any purpose.
Performance block (5 hours) Standard public performance. Staff provided includes technical supervisor (up to 5 hours) and house manager (up to 4 hours). Additional time in the same day charged as additional hours.
Reception block Use of Recital Hall, Black Box Theatre or Courtyard with performance or conference block. Includes 3 skirted six-foot tables.
Rehearsal block (8 hours) Standard scheduled technical and performance rehearsals. Staff provided includes technical supervisor. Additional time in the same day charged additional hours.
Technical load-in/strike (4 hours) Initial set up of required technical elements and/or subsequent restoration to original house specifications. Load-in block may be used only in addition to a least one performance block and one rehearsal block. Staff provided includes technical supervisor. Renters will be billed for actual time needed to restore to house specifications. Any subsequent time spent by CFA technical staff correcting un-restored technical elements will be billed. Unfulfilled restoration hours will be billed at the rate of $50/hour.
Unfulfilled restoration hours Any time spent by CFA staff to correct un-restored facility elements. To avoid this charge, lessee must obtain technical supervisor's approval before vacating the premises. Unfulfilled restoration hours will be billed at the rate of $50/hour.
