Career Development & CEUs

Students interested in CEU often are seeking to maintain their credentials or licensure in their current profession.  CEU courses are also a great choice when looking to move into a new career, enhance your knowledge in your current profession, or prepare for a promotion.

Earning CEUs

CEUs are a standard unit of measurement for continuing education and professional development activities. One CEU is equivalent to 10 classroom hours.  At the end of each CEU course, you may request or print a Certificate of Completion to demonstrate your commitment to growing skills for your workplace or profession.

Are you a professional interested in continuing education units (CEU) for licensure or certification renewal?  Many continuing education career and professional courses qualify for CEUs, including both instructor-led and online classes. Earning CEU's from an accredited institution of higher learning is typically important to professional associations where CEU's earned maintain national certification.

The knowledge and skills you gain by completing continuing education online courses and certificates may also qualify for employer education reimbursement.  If your company is interested in developing specific employee skills, PCC is able to create customized courses. Call 520.206.4765 to learn more.

Sign-up for a CEU class

  • review the credit class schedules for a course that supports your career interests.  You may elect to attend a credit course and earn units toward professional continuing education.   Depending upon the requirements of your profession, students may choose to be assessed (pass/fail) or receive no grade (audit).  Call 520.206.4737 with the credit CRN and course title to see if a seat is open.
