Commendations

College Police welcomes citizens to bring forward commendation suggestions for College Police employees.

A College Police employee can assist you in filling out a Commendation/Complaint Form. This form asks you to identify yourself and provide details about your commendation submission.

Complaints

College Police encourages citizens to report legitimate grievances regarding employee misconduct. A College Police Supervisor will receive complaints courteously and handle them efficiently.

To file a complaint about the actions of a College Police employee or about any aspect of College Police operations, please:

  • Come to any College Police Office and ask to speak with a supervisor about your complaint
    • A supervisory officer will assist you in filling out a Commendation/Complaint Form. This form asks you to identify yourself and provide specific details about your complaint.; or
  • Call the Police Department at (520)206-2692 to report the complaint; or
  • Mail your complaint to:
    • Pima Community College Police Department ATTN: Chief T. Villar, 6680 South Country Club Road, Tucson, Arizona 85709-1740; or
  • Send an email to Contact-PCCPD@pima.edu

Your complaint will then be investigated, which may include contacting you for additional questions.

A response will be made in a timely manner, and as time allows. Once the chain of command has completed its review and recommendations, you will receive a call from the appropriate Commander explaining the outcome of the investigation. You will also receive written notification of the complaint outcome via a letter from the Chief of Police.
