Honors Contract

Honors Contracts can be completed in any course numbered 100 and above. Contracts are one of the ways to earn honors credit for the Honors Program Certificate which can be earned along with your primary degree or certificate at graduation.

With an Honors Contract, you will shape the course to you interests for honors credit. Examples of projects include:

  • Experiments
  • Recitals or performances
  • Research papers
  • Creating original art such as a musical composition, sculpture, or script

Honors Contracts add approximately five hours of work per credit of the course. For example, a 3-credit course would involve 15 hours of additional work over the course of the semester.

Contact an Honors Coordinator to learn more or get started.
