If you graduated in summer or fall 2023 or will be graduating in spring or summer 2024, you are welcome to participate in the ceremony

It is free to participate, but required cap and gown must be purchased (details below)

For liability reasons, silly string, vuvuzelas, air horns and other noisemakers are not allowed in TCC facilities. This applies to graduates as well as their guests.

Though the deadline for online orders for your cap, gown and mementoes has passed, you may purchase them at a campus bookstore. Also, a limited number of caps and gowns will be on sale the night of Commencement, during check-in at the Tucson Convention Center.

Cap and Gown Cost: approximately $47.95, plus tax

Honors Stole: $22, plus tax

Anyone needing accommodation to participate in the ceremony should make the request before May 1 to Pima’s Access and Disability Resources Office, 520-206-6688 or ADRhelp@pima.edu.

COMMENCEMENT DAY INSTRUCTIONS

As a safety precaution, all guests and students will be scanned upon entering the TCC Arena. Please allow enough time to park, make your way to the entrance and designated area for guests and graduates.

Recommended Arrival Times
Graduates 5:30 p.m.
Guests 6:00 p.m.

Free parking will be available in all Tucson Convention Center parking lots and garages.

During the ceremony you will receive a ceremonial scroll. If you are graduating in spring or summer 2024, your diploma will be mailed later.

Some candidates and graduates are not listed due to individual preferences on privacy.

Our Multicultural Convocation is an annual student-centered event that celebrates the diversity of the graduating class.

Part of the tradition of Multicultural Convocation is connecting to our heritage and roots; this is usually achieved by alumni sharing their experiences, passing down knowledge through storytelling, and honoring graduates by awarding diversity stoles.

This free event for graduates and their families and friends includes a variety of foods and entertainment.
