Help Us Amplify Student Voices
Pima’s marketing is putting real students front and center to showcase their unique Pima journeys and let their voices shine. Know a student or alum who’d be a great fit? Media Production Extends Turnaround Times
The College’s Media Production team is currently managing a high volume of requests during a period of staffing transition. As a result, turnaround times for new projects may be longer than usual, typically three weeks or more.

The team will make every effort to accommodate time-sensitive needs; however, expedited or rush requests cannot be guaranteed at this time. To help ensure the best possible support, we encourage you to submit detailed project requests as early as possible when planning upcoming work with specific deadlines.

Take a Summer Course, Study in Germany
Ready for an unforgettable summer adventure? Enroll in a Pima Political Science course featuring study abroad in Germany, including Berlin, its capital and urban center. Students will visit government and cultural institutions, historic sites, such as the Berlin Wall and Sachsenhausen concentration camp, and the Hanseatic League city of Bremen. Also, take a high-speed ferry to Helgoland, get briefings from policymakers and scholars, and experience the country’s diverse cuisines. Sign up by Feb. 15.

Market On the Move Distribution Feb. 12
Pima employees can get fresh produce at affordable prices at Market on the Move Feb. 12. Use the drive-thru west of the Downtown Campus Advanced Manufacturing Building at, and pay $10 for a box of fresh produce.

  • What: Market on the Move (MOM)
  • When: 9-11 a.m., Feb. 12
  • Where: Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave.
  • Details: For Pima employees and students, with limited public availability; or volunteer for a Pima MOM here.

If you prefer a smaller, more student-focused box, you can pay $5 at the walk-up station near the ST Building.

Deadline Feb. 12 for New Community of Practice for Supervisors
The deadline to tell Human Resources that you are interested in being part of the new Community of Practice for Supervisors has been extended to Feb. 12.

This will be a cohort of approximately 15 supervisors who share their past and current leadership challenges and explore possible solutions. If you are interested, email employeerelations@pima.edu and share your preferred day to meet and whether morning or afternoon is best.

The CoP will meet virtually each month to encourage reflection on areas of opportunity, strengthening of leadership skills and exploration of new approaches to resolving challenges. You must have your camera and microphone on and active engagement is expected.

First in EGTSS Brown Bag Series Feb. 19
Pima’s Ethnic, Gender, Transborder Studies and Sociology Department kicks off its inaugural EGTSS Brown Bag Series Feb. 19, when Elizabeth Gaxiola, Ph.D., faculty in Mexican American as well as Native American studies, speaks about her 2024 and 2025 study trips to Bolivia, where she visited indigenous regions and groups:

Compliance and Ethics Webpage, Award Launched
The College’s new Compliance and Ethics webpage makes it easier than ever to learn more about PCC’s commitment to integrity. The page is designed to help our community stay easily informed on College policies and ethical standards.

In addition, we encourage employees to nominate their colleagues for the new Compliance Superstar Award. Know a colleague who leads by example? Help us celebrate the people who truly champion our culture of excellence by submitting a nomination.

Revised Academic Integrity Code, Guide Available Now
The revised Academic Integrity Code is posted. A Faculty Guide to the Pima Academic Integrity Code also is available. Check the Teaching and Learning Center Calendar to find information sessions about the Code. If you have any questions, email academic-integrity@pima.edu.

ACES Sponsoring Two Red Cross Blood Drives in March
The Association of Classified Exempt Staff is sponsoring two American Red Cross blood drives on Pima campuses. Here are details for these ACES events:

Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds, and most people need a blood donation in their lifetime, according to Red Cross.

Commencement Regalia on Sale for Faculty
Pima faculty can place 2026 Commencement cap and gown orders at any Pima Bookstore or online. Prices range from $100 to $162.

Commencement Day 2026 is May 20, with ceremonies at 10:30 a.m., and 4 p.m., at the Tucson Convention Center Arena. Ceremonies will be organized by academic programs. Details will be announced soon.

30th Annual Golf Tourney Is May 30
Mark your calendars for May 30, when the College hosts its 30th Annual Golf Tournament at Skyline Country Club. Enjoy a day on the greens while supporting programs that enrich the student experience. Pima People
The Coalition on Adult Basic Education has named Wendy Scheder Black, Adult Basic Education for College and Career’s Director of Teaching and Learning, as one of its 2026 State Advocates for Adult Education Fellows. “As a SAAEF fellow, she will have the opportunity to strengthen those skills and to raise awareness about Adult Ed at the local, state and national levels,” says Laurie Kierstead-Joseph, ABECC Assistant Vice Chancellor. The news release details the fellowship.
