Sexual Harassment

Pima Community College is committed to maintaining an environment for work and education which is free of discrimination.  It is the policy of the College that no member of the college community shall engage in sexual harassment. (BP 5.10: Equal Employment Opportunity, ADA, Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment (including Sexual Harassment).

Sexual harassment is defined as unwelcome advances, requests for sexual favor(s), other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature, or the creation of a hostile work or learning environment through sexual overtones.

Complaints alleging sexual harassment should be reported to the District AA/EEO Office, located at 4905C E. Broadway Blvd. Tucson, Arizona, to initiate the complaint procedure.

The "Sexual Harassment Policy Statement" is included in Affirmative Action Key Policies and Procedures and is available upon request from the Affirmative Action Office at the District Office, telephone number (520) 206-4539; in case of emergencies, contact the Pima Community College Department of Public Safety at 206-2700 or dial 911.
