Dates and Deadlines

Students need to familiarize themselves with some important College payment and financial aid dates and deadlines.  

Spring 2019 Payment Deadlines

If you register for any Spring 2019 class:

  • On or before November 30, 2018: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid within 14 calendar days of your initial registration or all of your registrations may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • December 1 - December 10, 2018: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid by December 14, 2018, or your registration may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • December 11 - March 14, 2019: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid within 4 days of the day you register or your registration may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • After March 14, 2019: You must pay tuition in full within 4 days of the day you register or your registration may be dropped. Spring Payment Plans will not be available after March 14, 2019. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

Pima reserves the right to drop unpaid registrations.

Spring Payment Plan Dates

1st Payment Plan Due Date - December 14, 2018

2nd Payment Plan Due Date - February 15, 2019

3rd Payment Plan Due Date - March 15, 2019 

Summer 2019 Payment Deadlines

If you register for any Summer 2019 class:

  • On or before April 1, 2019: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid within 14 calendar days of your initial registration or all of your registrations may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • April 2 - April 11, 2019: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid by April 15, 2019, or your registration may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • April 12 - June 13, 2019: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid within 4 days of the day you register or your registration may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • After June 13, 2019: You must pay tuition in full within 4 days of the day you register or your registration may be dropped. Spring Payment Plans will not be available after June 13, 2019. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

Summer Payment Plan Dates

1st Payment Plan Due Date - April 15, 2019

2nd Payment Plan Due Date - May 15, 2019

3rd Payment Plan Due Date - June 14, 2019

Fall 2019 Payment Deadlines

If you register for any Fall 2019 class:

  • On or before July 1, 2019: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid within 14 calendar days of your initial registration or all of your registrations may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • July 2 - July 11, 2019: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid by July 15, 2019, or your registration may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • July 12 - October 14, 2019: You must pay tuition and fees in full, enroll in a Payment Plan, or secure Financial Aid within 4 days of the day you register or your registration may be dropped. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

  • After October 14, 2019: You must pay tuition in full within 4 days of the day you register or your registration may be dropped. Spring Payment Plans will not be available after October 14, 2019. See Payment Deadlines for more information.

Fall Payment Plan Dates

1st Payment Plan Due Date - July 15, 2019

2nd Payment Plan Due Date - September 16, 2019

3rd Payment Plan Due Date - October 15, 2019 

Drop - Withdrawal Deadlines

What is the difference between a drop and a withdrawal?  A drop occurs prior to the published add/drop deadline while a withdrawal occurs after.  Students who drop a class will have the enrollment and charges for the class removed from their account.  Students who withdraw will show the class on their record with a grade of W and still be responsible for paying for the class. Financial Aid Disbursement Dates

Be sure to check the Financial Aid disbursement dates to find out when you can expect to see your financial aid disbursed to your student account.  Please note that these dates are different than the date any refund will be E-refunded or check mailed.
