PCC Fire Academy Graduates 26 Recruits

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College’s Fire Academy will highlight the accomplishments of their latest recruit class with a live fire demonstration tonight at 6 at the City of Tucson Public Safety Academy, 10001 S. Wilmot Road.
When:
- Demonstration: 6 p.m., May 20 (Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and arrive between 5 and 5:45 p.m.)
- Graduation: 6 p.m., May 21

Sean Gearty, named the Superboot by his Fire Academy classmates, addresses the graduating class on May 21, at 6 p.m. in the Proscenium Theatre at the West Campus Center for the Arts, 2202 W. Anklam Road. All 26 graduates obtained their Arizona Firefighter I & II state certifications.
