Workforce Development

Pima has developed various initiatives that help employers broaden their approach to workforce development.

Workforce Development Planning

Today’s tight labor market and high pace of technological change means companies must plan carefully to ensure they have the workforce they need now and into the future. We can help you leverage all of Pima’s workforce development programs and initiatives to develop that plan.

Tuition Reimbursement Assistance

If your organization offers a tuition reimbursement benefit, or if you’d like to start one, Pima can help start and manage it.

  • Onsite events with advisors and other student services support staff
  • Streamlined student tracking and invoicing
  • Workforce development support to ensure you get the best return on your investment

Prior Learning Assessment

Employees can earn college credit for skills learned outside the classroom. Students must complete a challenge exam or portfolio and if granted credit it will count towards their degree and appear on their college transcripts.  Learn more about Prior Learning Assessment.
