Program Admission

Before being admitted to the program, students must meet with the program director by contacting Dawn Majalca at or calling (520) 206-3183

Eligibility for program entry

This program requires the following preparatory coursework:
  • REA 091 or placement into a higher-level reading course  

Eligibility for Licensure and Clinical Practice

Arizona State Board of Pharmacy requires you are 18 years of age or older, have an Arizona level 1 fingerprint clearance card, show proof of high school diploma or equivalent and maintain health insurance.

Pharmacy Technology Certification Board (PTCB) candidates must complete a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program in order to be eligible.

Prospective students with a criminal background should contact the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy to learn if they are eligible to obtain licensure before enrolling in the program. They also may not be permitted in a clinical practice setting, depending on the rules and regulations of each particular site.
