If you’re detail-oriented and interested in both healthcare and tech, Pima’s Health Information Technology (HIT) program is a great way to launch your career in one of today’s fastest-growing fields. HIT professionals work behind the scenes to keep healthcare systems running smoothly by organizing and managing digital health records.

As more hospitals and clinics go digital, careers in medical billing, coding, and health information management are growing quickly. In this field, you’ll help ensure patient data is accurate, secure, and used to support quality care and timely payments. It’s a future-focused career that blends technology, organization, and purpose—giving you the chance to make a real impact in today’s healthcare world.

Completing our program prepares you to work in hospitals, clinics, private practices, insurance companies, and other healthcare settings in roles such as Health Information Technician, Medical Coder/Biller, Clinical Documentation Specialist, Medical Records Technician, Patient Information Coordinator, Insurance Claim Analyst, and more!
