Pima’s fully online Health Information Technology AAS degree prepares you for a tech-forward career in the growing world of healthcare data and digital records management. You’ll learn to work with digital health systems, manage patient billing and insurance forms, and protect private health information—all through hands-on, real-world training.

Taught by industry experts, the program runs year-round in flexible 8- or 16-week sessions—so you can study on your terms and even finish faster. You’ll also earn a Medical Billing & Coding Certificate along the way, and have access to free tutoring and exam prep. You’ll also get real-world experience in the field through a 144-hour internship, giving you the ability to start your HIT career with confidence.
