Pima Community College to Host Collegewide Open House Across All Campuses on May 8
Explore programs, meet faculty and students, and experience campus life firsthand.
TUCSON, Ariz. — Pima Community College (PCC) will welcome the community to a collegewide Open House on Friday, May 8, from 4–7 p.m., offering a unique opportunity to explore programs, meet faculty and students, and experience campus life firsthand.
The event will take place simultaneously at all five PCC campuses—Downtown, Desert Vista, East, Northwest, and West—providing convenient access for community members across Southern Arizona.
Open to prospective students, returning learners, families, and community members, the event is designed to be flexible and welcoming, allowing attendees to explore at their own pace. Visitors can tour classrooms and labs, connect with faculty and staff, and learn more about academic programs, student services, and career pathways.
“We’re excited to welcome the community onto our campuses to see what PCC has to offer,” said Dr. Jeffrey Nasse, Chancellor of Pima Community College. “This is a great opportunity to explore programs, meet our faculty, and experience the supportive environment that helps our students succeed.”
Attendees at all campuses will have access to key resources, including admissions and advising, financial aid information, library and tutoring services, and student life opportunities. Welcome stations will also be available to help visitors navigate each campus.
Each campus will highlight a variety of programs and areas of study, including:
- Downtown Campus: Construction, Welding, Robotics, Automotive, Machine Tool, CAD, Business
- Desert Vista Campus: Culinary, Hospitality, Childcare, Education, Veterans Center, Student Support
- East Campus: Cybersecurity, Makerspace, Emergency Medical Technology, Paramedic, Criminal Justice
- Northwest Campus (STEAMfest): Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, live demonstrations, student research, clubs
- West Campus: Health Sciences, Arts, Bernal Gallery, Athletics, Hands-on Technology
As part of a week of community engagement opportunities focused on career exploration, Pima Community College’s Aviation Technology Center will also host an Aviation and Aerospace Career Fair & Open House on Thursday, May 7, from 3–6 p.m. at 7211 S. Park Ave. The event will provide opportunities to meet local and national aviation employers, tour hangars and facilities, and learn more about PCC’s aviation programs, financial aid options, and career pathways
The PCC Open House is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
