Pima Fashion’s Runway Show, “Runway Renaissance,” A Showcase of Creativity and Sustainability, May 18

Tucson, AZ – The Pima Community College Fashion Design Department announces its highly anticipated spring runway show, Runway Renaissance, on May 18. This live fashion event showcases the exceptional artistry of our students, faculty and emerging local designers.

Runway Renaissance features an eclectic mix of designs, ranging from those by beginner to advanced fashion students, alongside creations from talented local and emerging designers. In alignment with our commitment to sustainability, the show spotlights innovative upcycled designs, thanks to our ongoing partnership with Goodwill of Southern Arizona. This is the seventh year of the Pima Fashion and Goodwill collaboration, which fosters creativity while promoting sustainable fashion practices.

The history of Pima’s Spring Fashion show is one of community engagement and philanthropy. Past events have combined fashion, food and fundraising, with notable success. This year, attendees are invited to the beautiful Pima West Campus, where organizers transform the Proscenium Theatre for a premier night of fashion. Whether in-person or joining us virtually, guests can expect an unforgettable experience filled with creativity, style and community spirit.

For those interested in supporting Runway Renaissance through sponsorship opportunities, show program advertising or designer entries, please visit the Pima Foundation website for more information. Additionally, a live stream option is available via the PCCTV YouTube page. Organizers encourage livestream viewers to consider donating to the Fashion Design Program page through the Pima Foundation website. Funds raised support student achievement awards.
