Free Summer College Readiness Camps for Grades 9-12 at Pima Community College

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College is offering learners in grades 9-12 free College Readiness Camps in June and July to prepare them for academic and career success. 

The camps are underwritten by a grant from COVID relief funds disbursed by the office of Gov. Doug Ducey, and the College appreciates the support of the governor’s office.

The program is available to learners living in the 85705 ZIP code and includes lunch and transportation to and from Amphi High School.

During the camps, learners will hone their skills in reading, writing and mathematics, while exploring career opportunities, learning success strategies, and setting academic goals.

The half-day sessions will be held Mondays-Fridays at Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave.

Details:

Session I: June 6-17

Session II: June 20-July 1

Session III: July 11-22

  • Success/career exploration for grades 9-10, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Success/career exploration for grades 11-12, 1-4:30 p.m.
