Are you interested in pursuing a career in design for manufacturing, architecture, or land development? Pima’s Associate of Applied Science in Computer-Aided Design prepares you for a rewarding role as a CAD technician or designer. Through hands-on training with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Revit, SketchUp, ArcGIS, or Civil 3D, you’ll gain the technical skills top employers seek.

Classes are primarily offered in person to provide essential real-world lab experience, with select virtual or online options available for added flexibility. Whether your focus is mechanical and electro-mechanical, architectural and building systems, or civil and landscape; you will graduate with a professional portfolio and the practical skills needed to succeed. CAD professionals are in demand across Tucson and beyond—and this program offers a direct pathway into the industry.

"If someone is unsure about coming to Pima, I’d tell them I really like it here. The CAD program is strong, the environment is more intimate than a big university and the advisors are super helpful. Also, talking to my advisor helped me switch to the architecture path, and I’m so glad I did."
