Paralegal
Post-Degree Certificate
How Can We Help?
Already have a degree and want to break into the legal field? Pima’s American Bar Association-approved Post-Degree Certificate in Paralegal Studies gives you the hands-on legal training to do just that — in as little as 18 months.
You will build practical skills like legal research, case investigation, document drafting, trial preparation and ethical decision-making from experienced instructors. You will also learn how to communicate professionally with legal teams and analyze complex legal information for real-world use.
Paralegals can work in a variety of fast-paced settings, including law firms, corporate legal departments and government agencies. In Arizona, your training could even qualify you to apply to become a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional, representing clients independently in specific legal areas. Learn more about the LP license.
Conditional Enrollment: You will be eligible to enroll in PAR courses once you have completed the required writing course listed in Program Admission and the department has authorized your enrollment. Please review the Checklist for Admission to the Paralegal Post degree certificate program and see the program director or advisor for more information.
