College Success Coaching

The top priority of College Success Coaches is to build relationships with our students and support each student’s success. College Success Coaches partner with our students to better understand the student’s world, identify what’s getting in their way (academically/personally), and co-create solutions to help the student overcome their top challenges.

Coaching Support

  • Customized 1:1 coaching on how to be successful this semester and overcome your top challenges
  • Engaging in-class activities to enhance your college success skills
  • Consistent, value-added, weekly email outreach
  • Support without judgment when life happens
  • Connection to your PCC Support Network

Note: Coaching is not counseling. Coaching is focused on creating one’s future through taking action, such as setting and reaching goals and developing new skills.

Student Benefits

  • A reliable, caring, and proactive personal connection
  • A mentor to help you identify barriers and build capacity
  • A source of encouragement and accountability
  • A bridge to PCC resources and your PCC Success Network
  • A guide to your academic and career goals
