
State Grants
Grants do not have to be repaid unless you never attend a class or withdraw from all active classes. All federal grants are awarded based on FAFSA information.
Arizona Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (AzLEAP) Grant
- Amount: 2024-2025 max amount for full-time: $1000 (Fall and Spring)
- Who is Eligible: Must be enrolled at least half-time as an undergraduate student, Arizona residents, U.S. Citizens or permanent residents demonstrating highest financial need.
- How Award Is Determined: Must demonstrate exceptional financial need based on the SAI number. Selection is completed on a first-come, first-served basis. If a student is enrolled less than full-time the award will be prorated based on enrollment status: Limited funding is available.
- Students may only be eligible for one supplemental or special grant program per academic year.

Foster Youth Grants
Arizona Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program
The Arizona Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program is a federally-funded, state-administered program that provides financial, academic, and student support for young people who are or have been in foster care and are enrolled in qualified colleges, universities, or vocational education programs.
Arizona Tuition Waiver
If you are attending an Arizona public community college, four-year college, or university, you may be eligible for the Arizona Tuition Waiver. You must have been in foster care at some point after the age of 14 meet all requirements of the Arizona ETV program and must receive your first disbursement of funding before your 23rd birthday.
