Important Dates
Early Book Purchase Program (EBPP)
Is your aid more than your tuition and fees? Use the leftover funds to purchase your textbooks at the college bookstore 10 days before your classes start. Note that once your financial aid has been paid, the EBPP is no longer available.
Disbursement
Aid applies to your balance the day before classes start depending on the class start date.- Refer to our Disbursement and Refunds webpage.
- Accounts Receivable Services (ARS) will process remaining financial aid funds, if any, as a refund to the student. Contact ARS with any questions about refunds.
Pell Recalculation Date (PRD)
To maximize your award, it is important to finalize your course schedule before the PRD, even if some of the classes you are considering start later.

A Pell Grant award may be increased, decreased, or even canceled if changes to enrollment are made prior to the Pell Recalculaton Date deadline (7:00 pm local time through Summer 2026, 11:59 pm local time beginning Fall 2026). If a student's aid is reduced and creates a balance due to the college, the student will be responsible for payment.
Appeals and Recalculation of SAP
The processing time of an appeal is 7-10 business days. Monitor your student email and the financial aid dashboard for updates.

Course Program of Study (CPoS)
The CPoS process runs during the following time periods. You'll receive a notification if one or more of your classes don't apply to your program of study.
2025-2026
- Fall 2025: 7/11/2025-10/27/2025
- Spring 2026: 11/10/2025-3/30/2026
- Summer 2026: 03/31/2026-6/30/2026
2026-2027
- Fall 2026: 7/01/2026-10/27/2026
- Spring 2027: 10/28/2026-4/07/2027
- Summer 2027: 04/06/2027-6/30/2027
Loan Request Deadline
You must have a loan offered and accepted by the semester deadline for your loan to be approved. The deadlines are as follows:
- Fall - December 1st
- Spring - May 1st
- Summer - July 1st
