Statement of Support or Opposition
Anyone interested in submitting a statement of support or opposition for Proposition 430, a Pima County Community College District general obligation bond, must submit the statement to bondstatements@pima.edu by 5:00 p.m. on August 5, 2026 and must include the following information:
- First and last name of everyone who should be listed as signing/submitting the statement. Up to 25 people may be listed.
- If the statement is sponsored by one or more individuals, the statement shall be signed by each sponsoring individual.
- If the statement is sponsored by one or more organizations, the statement shall be signed by two executive officers of each organization. Include the name of the organization and the title of each executive officer signing.
- If the statement is sponsored by one or more political committees, the statement shall be signed by each committee's chairperson or treasurer. Include the name of the organization and the title of each person signing.
- Contact information for each person signing/submitting the statement, including:
- Residential address including city, state, and zip code
- Email address
- Phone number
Signer/submitter names will be published with the statement. Contact information will not be published, but must be provided to permit verification of identity, if necessary.
Per A.R.S. § 19-124(A), the statement of support or opposition of the ballot measure shall not exceed 300 words. If your statement exceeds the limit, only the first 300 words will be included in the publicity pamphlet. Please ensure proper spelling, capitalization, and grammar prior to submission. Formatting from text will be removed. There is no fee for submitting a statement.
