Ready to kickstart your career as a firefighter? Pima’s Fire Academy gives you the hands-on training and real-world experience you need to succeed. In just nine months, you’ll earn key certifications like Firefighter I and II, Hazardous Materials First Responder, and Wildland Firefighter—everything you need to start your career in Arizona’s fire service.

Our program follows trusted standards set by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and is approved by the Arizona Center for Fire Service Excellence (ACFSE). After completing the certification, you can continue your education by pursuing Pima’s Fire Science Associate degree program, giving you even more opportunities to advance in this rewarding field.
