Program Outcomes - Chemistry AS Concentration

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Chemistry AS Concentration program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Solve chemistry problems by identifying the essential parts of a problem, formulating a strategy for solving the problem, applying appropriate techniques to arrive at a solution, test the correctness of the solution, and interpret their results.
  2. Apply quantitative or qualitative theories of molecular behavior to chemical problems.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of appropriate instrumentation to collect and record data from chemical experiments.
