Program Outcomes - Respiratory Care AAS

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Respiratory Care AAS program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Be eligible to attempt the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Therapist Multiple Choice Examination.
  2. Using a three-year average, 80% of the total number of graduates will obtain the NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.

For Academic Year 2012/13, PCC student pass rates for those industry examinations for which data is available are given below.

The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

  • Entry Level Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) exam: 21 students tested, 19 students passed (90.48% pass rate)
