Program Outcomes - Interpreter Training AAA

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Interpreter Training AAA Degree program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Convey appropriate entry level information when interpreting/transliterating (sign to voice, voice to sign, sign to sign).
  2. Interact appropriately in a variety of contexts and settings within the Deaf Community.
  3. Make professional and situational decisions.
  4. Produce and comprehend grammatically correct register/age variants of American Sign Language (ASL), English, or Pidgin Sign English/Contact Language.
  5. Critique personal practices and interpreting performances to set future professional goals.
