HLC Peer Reviewers affirm PCC’s progress
December 21, 2016
Affirming Pima Community College’s significant progress, the Higher Learning Commission released the Draft Feedback Report on the College’s accreditation status last week. In 10 of 11 areas of concern, the HLC Peer Review team recommends removing the College from the sanction of “On Notice.”
And while it was determined that one area should result in the College remaining On Notice for an additional six months, the work completed there to date earned praise and recognition from Peer Reviewers.
“Our Peer Reviewers validated every effort we have made to strengthen Pima’s commitment to students and the community,” Chancellor Lee Lambert says.
