The 6th Annual Ethnic, Gender, Transborder Studies and Sociology Summit will feature Yaba Blay, Ph.D., a“nationally recognized scholar-activist, public speaker and cultural consultant whose scholarship, work and practice centers on the lived experiences of Black women and girls, with a particular focus on identity/body politics and beauty practices.” (yabablay.com).
The topic is “The Power of Sharing Our Stories: Joy, Resistance and Resilience."
