Pima Reports Upgrade
IT is upgrading the College’s Pima Reports (Business Objects system) to version 4.3 with the help of ASR Consultants. This upgrade will bring noticeable design and functionality changes. It provides great new visualization options along with easy-to-use features.

To get you started, a pdf document (Scheduling Crystal Reports V.4.3) is posted on the Intranet/MyPima site (Intranet/Strategy, Analytics and Research/Pima Reports). It gives step-by-step instructions on how to schedule reports. StAR also set up quick training sessions called Pima Reports Fundamentals (FY23) through Organizational Effectiveness and Development (OED) in MyCareerCenter. Check the dates and sign up for a session to learn more about how to schedule Pima Reports. These sessions will be recorded as well.

Review the pdf or sign up for a quick training session before the expected upgrade tentatively takes place Nov. 18.

If you have questions about the upgrade, Pima Reports or College data, email StAR.

New Printer Connection Method
Through January, the IT Department is conducting a phased installation of PrinterLogic software, allowing employees to add a printer to their college-owned computer without calling the Help Desk. Because IT is concurrently consolidating and removing some printers to reduce Pima’s environmental impact, your default printer may become unavailable. In some cases, you may need to use PrinterLogic to select a new default printer. Learn more about PrinterLogic from this Knowledge Base article.
