Share A Treat: Start or Increase Payroll Deduction for ARC
For October, the ARC Resource Center and Food Pantry asks Pima employees to enroll in or increase their payroll deduction plan to benefit the program through the Pima Foundation.

To establish a payroll deduction contribution, visit MyPima –> Employees –> Quick Links and select My Miscellaneous Deductions, then scroll down and click “Add a New Benefit or Deduction” and follow the instructions.

These payroll deduction donations are the only funding source for purchasing food and hygiene products for Pima students and are deposited into a Pima Foundation account benefitting ARC.

All employees who enroll in this payroll deduction or increase their current payroll deduction will be entered to win gift certificates from local businesses including Gadabout, Top Golf, Hotel McCoy and more.

Due to inflation and supply chain issues, ARC must raise an additional $1,400 per month to continue the current level of service to students. To do that, this fundraising campaign must enroll an additional 70 employees at $10 per pay period or 140 employees at $5 per pay period.

Learn about ARC on this Pima Foundation web page.

Engineering Open House at Northwest Campus Oct. 19
The Engineering Program has moved to Northwest Campus – second floor of the G Building. The Pima community and the public are invited on Oct. 19, 3:30-6:30 p.m., to check out the new classrooms, enjoy interactive activities, meet the faculty, talk to engineering students and partake of food from Eegee’s!

New Printer Connection Method
Starting Oct. 24, the IT Department will begin a phased installation of PrinterLogic software, allowing employees to add a printer to their college-owned computer without calling the Help Desk. Because IT is concurrently consolidating and removing some printers to reduce Pima’s environmental impact, your default printer may become unavailable. In some cases, you may need to use PrinterLogic to select a new default printer. Learn more about PrinterLogic from this KnowledgeBase article.

Veterans Day Celebration and Resource Fair at Downtown Campus Nov. 10
Downtown Campus will hold a Veterans Day Celebration and Resource Fair honoring veterans in our community. The event is Nov. 10, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and will be held just south of the Roosevelt Building.
