Wireless Access - WiFi

New Wireless Networks Available

Access to the wireless network named "pima" ended on June 30, 2018.

PCC students and employees should use the "Pima-WiFi" wireless network and log in using your MyPima username and password.

Guests to PCC may use the "Pima-Guest" wireless network.

Students and Employees:  Pima-WiFi

Pima provides a secure wireless network that students and employees can use to connect personally owned devices. To connect, select the Pima-WiFi network on your device and log in with your MyPima username and password. Android users may be prompted for additional setup information (see the Android setup instructions below).

Guests and Visitors:  Pima-Guest

Guests and visitors to the College can connect to the Pima-Guest network. After connecting you will be prompted to enter your name and email address and you will be sent an email with a confirmation link. Once you click the confirmation link your device will remain connected for 72 hours. If you don’t click the confirmation link within ten minutes your connection will end and you will need to start the process again.

Connecting iOS Devices (iPads, iPhones) to Pima-WiFi

  1. Select Pima-WiFi and enter your MyPima username and password
  2. When prompted, click "Trust"

Connecting Android Devices to Pima-WiFi

When connecting Android devices to Pima-WiFi users are prompted to select connection options. There are two connection methods, if the first one doesn’t work users should use the second.

Method 1

  1. Set EAP method to PEAP
  2. In the Identity field enter your MyPima username
  3. In the Password field enter your MyPima password
  4. Tap Connect

Method 2

  1. Set EAP method to PEAP
  2. Set CA certificate to Use system certificates
  3. In the Domain field enter pima.edu
  4. In the Identity field enter your MyPima username
  5. In the Password field enter your MyPima password
  6. Tap Connect
