PCC Women’s Basketball Get Back on Track With Win

 Tucson, AZ – The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (3-7, 2-3 in conference) snapped its 3-game losing streak in a big way on Wednesday after it defeated Chandler-Gilbert Community College 104-80 in Chandler. This was the highest point total the Aztecs have put on the scoreboard this season.

The Aztecs had five players score in double figures. Alyssa Roche (Cienega HS) led the team with 21 points while A’jha Edwards (Tombstone HS) posted another double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. DJ Davis (Tolleson HS) and Felicia Foster (Peoria HS) each contributed with 15 points and Raja Moreno (Tucson HS) finished the game with 12 points and nine rebounds.

The Aztecs will try to build more momentum as they host Phoenix College at the West Campus on Saturday at 2 p.m.
