New Student Orientation

Have a successful first year with New Student Orientation

All New Student Orientations for Fall will be held online. See Online Orientation below.

Start your first year at Pima Community College with a plan for success. As a first-time college student, you’re required to participate in our free New Student Orientation. It’s worth the effort!

Orientations generally last 2-3 hours. In orientation you'll learn

  • what classes to take
  • how to register
  • what resources are available to help you succeed

Additionally, you'll receive personalized advising at orientation. When you finish orientation, you're ready to register to attend Pima.

We suggest that transfer and returning students go to orientation to learn about PCC processes, services and resources.

Online Orientation

If you can’t attend a campus orientation, do it online. Allow 90 minutes to do the activities. To do the the online orientation

  1. Print the New Student Orientation packet.
  2. Log into MyPima
  3. Go to the "New Student" tab.
  4. Look for the "Attend Orientation" section and select "Online Orientation."

Contact Us or drop by a Student Service Center if you have questions.

Students with disabilities who need reasonable accommodations should contact Access and Disability Resources at 520-206-6688. Give one week's notice if possible.
