Biology Concentration

Associate of Science

An Associate of Science degree has replaced the Biology Concentration - Associate of Sciences at Pima Community College. Therefore, the Biology concentration was inactivated and no longer accepts new students. Instead, all biology courses now fall under the Associate of Science degree. These courses will provide you with the knowledge and tools to leave Pima prepared to pursue a biology degree at a bachelor’s degree-granting university. If you have any questions regarding this program, please see an advisor.

Prepare to transfer to a university in a biological science by taking foundational courses in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.

This program has been designed to match as closely as possible the first two years of a biology degree at the University of Arizona.  Meet with an advisor to complete a transfer plan, especially if you plan on attending another university.
