Dental Laboratory Technology AAS


This program is currently inactivated and is in teachout. Teachout for this program will conclude at the end of the Fall 2023 term. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact the program director at 520-206-3100.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Dental Laboratory Technology AAS program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Fabricate/Repair cast metal restorations for delivery.
  2. Fabricate/Repair/Reline complete dentures for delivery.
  3. Fabricate/Repair/Reline partial dentures for delivery.
  4. Fabricate and repair orthodontic appliances.
  5. Fabricate/Repair porcelain fused to metal crowns and bridges for delivery.

For Academic Year 2012/13, PCC student pass rates for those industry examinations for which data is available are given below.

National Association of Dental Laboratories /National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology

  • Certified Dental Technician (CDT) Exam: 1 student tested, 1 student passed (100% pass rate)
