Mechanical Designer/CNC Programmer


This program is currently inactivated and is in teachout. Teachout for this program will conclude at the end of Summer Term 2022. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact the Dean at 520.206.7134. For students currently in the program, the requirements are listed below.

Learn how to prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods and other engineering information. Students also learn mechanical design and modeling fundamentals using SolidWorks® computer-aided design (CAD) and programmer skills in computer numerical control (CNC). SolidWorks® is used to design three-dimensional solids.
