Spring 2007 The Lead faculty member is identified. This faculty member will write the self-study. Preparations begin for the NCA visit.
Fall 2007 The Lead faculty, member working with the AVC of Academic Services, consults regularly with the Chancellor and Provost to determine how to proceed with benchmarking and overall preparation for the self-study.
Spring 2008 College representatives benchmark other institutions and review of exemplary self-studies.
Fall 2008 Benchmarking is completed and regular progress updates are provided to Chancellor's Cabinet.
Spring 2009 The Lead Faculty member sends an early draft of the written self-study to Chancellor's Cabinet for review.
Fall 2009 The Lead Faculty member sends a draft of the written self-study to Chancellor's Cabinet for approval.
Spring 2010 The Lead Faculty member completes the written self-study.
Summer 2010 The College completes final preparations for the NCA visit, including the creation of an exhibit room with College materials. The College submits the written self-study to the NCA.
Fall 2010 The North Central Association (NCA) Team visits the College September 13–15.
