Get Started in Prep Academy

What is a Get Started session?

At a Prep Academy "Get Started" session you will learn how PCC Prep Academy works, and how it will help you become a more successful college student.

Registration is required for a Get Started session. 

After the Get Started session you will:

  • be able to complete a short diagnostic survey (Math, Reading and/or Writing)
  • have a private advising session with a Prep Academy staff member to discuss your learning path.
  • learn if you are eligible to use your AIMS scores to become classified as a degree-seeking student

How to register for a session

Registration is required for a Get Started session. To register,

  1. Log into MyPima
  2. Click on the "Prep" tab.
  3. click on Sign up for a Get Started session and select your session.

View a calendar of scheduled Get Started Sessions.

Monday through Thursday at all campuses:

  • 10:30 a.m.
  • 12:30 p.m.
  • 2:30 p.m.
  • 5:30 p.m.

Fridays at all campuses:

  • 10:30 a.m.
  • 12:30 p.m.
  • 2:30 p.m.

Saturdays at Downtown and East Campuses only:

  • 10:30 a.m.
