AAA, AAS or AGS Degree Requirements

General education requirements for Associate of Applied Arts, Associate of Applied Science and Associate of General Studies fall into the four categories listed below.

Specific degrees may require core or support courses that already fulfill these requirements. 

Important: Always consult your specific degree program display to identify the courses required to earn a degree.

• Communication
• Analysis and Critical Thinking
• Humanities, Social Science, Leadership and Ethics
• Computer and Information Literacy

Additionally, in fulfilling the requirements, one of the courses must have either the Cultural Diversity (C) or Global Awareness (G) designation.

Individual courses may not be used to complete more than one category.
