Free training offered on detecting child abuse

Awareness:  The Best Defense Against Child Abuse

Pima Community College’s Public Safety and Emergency Services Institute, in partnership with the Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center, is offering a training program designed to teach participants to recognize the signs and symptoms of child abuse, provide interventions, report abuse and more.

When: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., March 25, 2014

This training program is geared toward law enforcement officers, first responders, attorneys and medical professionals.
