PCC Winter/Spring Sports Feb. 11 – Feb. 17

The Pima Community College basketball teams continue regular season competition as the Aztecs play at home and on the road this week. The women’s golf team kicks off its season and the softball team travels and plays at home. The baseball team hosts its first home doubleheader of the season. The women’s tennis team travels to Texas while the track teams compete in Coolidge.

The women’s golf team kicks off the week with a two-day tournament at the Legacy Golf Course in Laveen. They tee off on Monday and Tuesday around noon.

The softball team will travel to South Mountain Community College on Tuesday to play a doubleheader. The first game starts at 1 p.m.

The basketball teams are back at the West Campus’ Aztec Gym on Wednesday when they host South Mountain Community College. The women’s game will start at 5:30 p.m. and the men will follow at 7:30 p.m.

The women’s tennis team will travel to Collin College as part of the Texas Tournament in Plano, TX on Friday. The Aztecs will play Temple Community College at 9 a.m. and then host Collin College at 1:30 p.m. On Saturday the Aztecs will play Seminole College at 9 a.m. and Cowley College at 1:30 p.m.

The baseball and softball teams will play at the West Campus on Saturday. The baseball team will play Arizona Western College in a doubleheader that starts at noon while the softball team hosts Phoenix College in their doubleheader that also starts at noon. The track & field teams will take part in the Central Arizona Relays in Coolidge. Competition starts at 10 a.m.

The basketball teams will play at Mesa Community College on Saturday. The women’s game will be at 2 p.m. and the men will start at 4 p.m.
