PCC Veterinary Technician Program Orientations in March, April

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College’s Veterinary Technician Program has four upcoming orientations for students interested in enrolling.
The orientations include a presentation, question-and-answer period and tour of the facilities, located at PCC’s East Campus. The orientation also covers the application process, program requirements and other student obligations, including the externship.
PCC’s Veterinary Technician Program, which is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association, is a two-year degree program that awards an Associate of Science degree upon completion. Students learn veterinary care, including nutrition, nursing, anesthesiology and radiography, as well as clinical laboratory procedures. Students also do required clinical work at local veterinary practices.
The program accepts 25 students each Fall Semester.
All Veterinary Technician Program orientations are in Building E6, PCC East Campus, 8181 E. Irvington Road. The orientation schedule is:
- March 22: 9 a.m.
- March 27: 11 a.m.
- April 10: 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
