PCC Board Honors Former Member Fimbres

Tucson, AZ -- The Pima Community College Board of Governors Wednesday night honored Richard G. Fimbres, who resigned from the Board in December 2009 after serving since 1997. Mr. Fimbres was elected to the Tucson City Council in November.
The Board presented Mr. Fimbres with a plaque containing a resolution passed at its December meeting. “It has been an honor to have worked with Mr. Fimbres to fulfill the College’s mission to develop the community through learning,” the resolution reads in part.
The next scheduled meeting of the Board will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 7 p.m. in the PCC District Office Community/Board Room at 4905 E. Broadway.
