How to Apply

Fill out an employment application form and mail, fax or submit it directly to the district Human Resources Office, along with any required supplemental materials Reasonable accommodations, including materials in alternative formats, will be made for applicants with disabilities if advance notice is given to Human Resources.

About the Application Process

  • For regular positions, employment applications are accepted only for current openings. Job announcements provide information about positions and their qualifications.
  • You'll be notified whenever your application status changes.
  • Once received, applications and supporting materials are reviewed for completeness and timeliness, then screened for relevant knowledge, skills and abilities. Written or oral exercises, interviews and other assessments may also be requested.
  • When screening reviews are finished, finalists are referred to the hiring supervisor or administrator. Final interviews are conducted.
  • A final decision is made, based on interview results, screening results, references, supervisory checks and the needs of the hiring department.
  • The entire process is reviewed by Human Resources and the EEO/Affirmative Action Office to assure that Pima policy and the competitive employment process have both been followed. All appointments are subject to approval by the Board of Governors.
