Aztec Activity Grant

If you are actively involved in community service, volunteer work or student life activities, you may be eligible for an Aztec Activity grant. This grant can provide full or partial tuition and fees for your PCC classes.

You must apply and meet the qualifications to be eligible to compete for an Aztec Activity grant.

Application Criteria

Note: Information submitted will be verified, including GPAs and EFCs.

You must:

  • have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or a minimum score of 450 on the GED.
    If you are not a current student, use your high school GPA and fax a copy of your transcript to 520-206-4788. Clearly write your PCC student ID number at the top of the transcript.
  • not be receiving financial aid from any other post-secondary institution.
  • not be eligible for PCC staff or dependent tuition waivers.
  • be registered for a minimum of six credits in the fall semester of 2014.
  • be eligible for in-state tuition rates.

Application Process:

  • submit a completed application by the deadline. The deadline for 2014-2015 applications is May 30, 2014
  • after submitting the application by the application deadline, students must then submit a completed Volunteer Activity form (Word or PDF) documenting completed activities. On the form, you must have at least 20 hours of service or activity performed by the form submission due date.  Volunteer forms are required each semester. Submit the Volunteer Activity form by July 14, 2014 to be considered for a fall 2014 award, and by Dec. 5, 2014 to be considered for a spring 2015 award.

Important: Awards are funded for one academic year (fall and spring semester), unless otherwise indicated, as long as you maintain the academic requirements. You may receive a maximum of two years of support (four semesters); however, you must re-apply for the second academic year.

Note: If you accept one or more of these awards, it may impact your total financial aid package. Please contact any Student Services Center for information about your financial aid.
