PCC athletes receive NJCAA honors

The NJCAA released the recipients of their Academic Student-Athlete Awards and nine of Pima's student-athletes made the list.

Susan Hansen (Soccer) and Kristi Shepherd (Softball) made the Pinnacle Award for Academic Achievement list each earning a 4.0 GPA. Daniel Simmons (Football) and Jacqueline Deen (Softball) received Superior Academic Achievement recognition.

Sarah Hansen (Soccer), Heidi Lopez (CC & Track), Tatum Rochin (Tennis), Paige Shirley (Basketball) and Rebekah Starks (Soccer) were recognized for Exemplary Academic Achievement.
