Educational Talent Search
If you are a low-income and first-generation high school student thinking about college, the TRiO Educational Talent Search (ETS) program offers you the support of one-on-one encouragement, motivation and mentoring.
This free program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, provides you with academic, career and financial counseling and encourages you to graduate from high school and continue on to complete your postsecondary education.

Who is eligible?
If you are a motivated student in grade nine through twelve who needs help accessing post-secondary education and becoming a success or you know someone who fits that description, ETS is for you!
The ETS program is completely free if you meet the following criteria:
- At least 13 years of age and in grades nine through twelve
- U.S. Citizen or Registered Permanent Resident
- Qualify as low income or potential first generation college student (first in immediate family to earn a four-year college degree)
- Commit to remain in the ETS program until high school graduation
- Demonstrate an interest or desire to attend college
- Minimum of 2.5 grade point average
