Adjunct Faculty Application Process
Current job openings are posted on the Pima Jobs web site. Adjunct recruitment and job assignments are filled throughout the year as needed.
If you do not see your discipline listed on the Pima Jobs web site, you may still apply for an adjunct faculty position. Once you are certified and approved, your information will be added to our database of potential adjunct faculty.
- Review the list of job openings. Your discipline does not need to be listed on Pima Jobs in order for you to apply. Applications for adjunct faculty positions are accepted throughout the year.
- Review the PCC disciplines or teaching areas listed online on Pima's Courses web site. Employment consideration will only be offered in areas that you designate on your job application.
- Complete an online application. Attach supporting documentation listed on the application checklist to your online application or submit the documentation to the Office of Faculty Certification.

If you are applying for both full-time and adjunct faculty positions, two separate applications must be submitted with appropriate documentation. Both use online application forms.
- Full-time faculty applications and supporting documentation will be initially processed by the Human Resources Office.
- Adjunct applications and supporting documentation will be initially processed by the Office of Faculty Certification.
Certification & Hiring Process Flowcharts Process flowcharts provide details needed by PCC staff and administrators on certification and hiring procedures. The flowcharts provide specific information on processing limited exemptions, emergency hires, and recertifications.
