Downtown Campus is home to numerous programs for gaining the skills to advance in a trade. Students train in state-of-the-art facilities, mastering Machine Tool Technology, Welding, Building and Construction Technologies and many other occupations.

Students taking Art 100-Basic Design created a canvas tile mural duplicating Picasso’s 1937 anti-war painting Guernica. More than 100 art students had participated in the mural’s creation. It can be seen on the 2nd floor of the Campus Center.

With easy access from all points in Tucson, the Downtown Campus Amethyst Room is often used by community organizations for their events. The room also serves as the site for workshops and career fairs.
