1.    May I contact departments directly to sell my products/services?
Departments are responsible for purchasing goods and general or professional services through their respective Business Office for purchases up to $5000. You may contact the department’s Business Office.

2.    Will Pima Community College accept faxed Responses to Formal Bids or Requests for Proposal?
No - The College only accepts sealed bids or proposals to protect their confidentiality until they are publicly opened during a bid or proposal opening. Note that this does not apply to purchases under $30,000.

3.    What are bond, surety and insurance requirements?
Bonds, sureties and insurance may be required for various procurements. Review these requirements with your insurance agent before you submit your bid or proposal. The requirements are specified in the Pima Community College bid or proposal document.

4.    How can I get the results of a particular bid or proposal?

Auctions are typically held four times per year.

7.    What criteria are used to award bids and requests for proposals?
Bids are awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid conforms in all material respects to the criteria set forth in the bid document. RFP award recommendations are based on criteria and requirements set forth in the RFP document in cases where price is only one deciding factor.
